“Karst Trail Grand Opening”- October 2, 2011 at Lost World Caverns
Greenbrier River Watershed Association has designed kiosks to educate the public on karst in our watershed. The kiosks will form an easily accessible trail located at Lost World Caverns. The Karst Trail grand opening will be held on October 2, 2011 from 2:00-5:00pm. Come join us for the grand opening; Walk the Karst Trail, take a tour of Lost World Caverns, eat some great food, listen to some music and enjoy yourself!!! Delegate Tom Campbell will be present to discuss legislative attempts to regulate Marcellus Shale drilling in the karst within our watershed and throughout the state of WV. We will also have cavers on site to answer general questions about the karst environment.
Come out and support a local nonprofit organization trying to make a difference in the Greenbrier River wateshed!!!
