West Virginia has always been known for its endless array of recreational activities, many of which take place in the Greenbrier River Watershed. Caving, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, hunting and fishing are only a few activities taking place along the river.
People who use the river, state parks, and state forest are often the most passionate protectors of the environment.
