Victory! Bad Water Quality Rule Withdrawn

Late last week, the state Department of Environmental Protection withdrew its proposal for several modifications of state water quality standards, after the West Virginia Manufacturers Association revealed its plan to ask lawmakers for a broad revision of the DEP’s proposal that would greatly reduce the existing statewide application of drinking water standards.
